Review
This transformers two pack is just pure awesomeness squared! In it you get two great figures that are great for kids and older collectors alike. I’ll start off with Dirge:
Cybertronian Jet;
A very solid mode with some nice detail and a series of weapons only a decepticon could truly appreciate.
Robot mode;
After a simple yet effective transformation you find a very nice robot in dark colors that make the name Dirge so intrinsically appropriate. His deep blue with a black scowling face make him into the Grim Reaper of your transformer universe. Don’t let him touch you! or else…
Now for my favorite part of the set, Roadbuster:
Armored vehicle;
This is one TOUGH machine that can smash through just about anything and if an insurmountable obstacle arises, some recoilless cannons and flip out machine guns should help take care of business.
Robot mode;
Did I say the vehicle was tough? Well then the robot is just plain rugged! He has bulk and durability to spare for every other autobot in the classic series. His transformation is so simple and yet both modes are clearly effective. Old Roadbuster also sports so many weapons in this mode that he could even make a Megatron jealous of his firepower. Multiple fold-open missile racks, those sweet recoilless guns and a silver blade you can fix on to either arm and give some decepticons a chance to watch the energon drain out of their withering chassis!!!
Overall:
If you are a collector, a kid, or just a fella or lady that loves some brawlin’ bots then this set is for you.

This Optimus Prime (Leader Class) figure standing at an awesome 13 inches tall, now infused with power from the Allspark, can go into stealth mode – hence the new colors. A more sneaky version of the Autobots head honcho it’s really just a repaint of the first Leader Class model.
The detail on this toy is impressive – from realistic rubber tires to individually moving fingers. Truck mode even has a working horn and cab lights. There are not as many flames as the original version (which could be a good thing) but the nighttime blue look really adds a whole different attitude to Optimus.
The transformation process is challenging but not impossible as every part has a logical place to go. This version of Prime sports the automorph action (which basically is an automatic finish to the transformation into robot mode) with working lights. Unlike many Transformer figures both the vehicle and the robot modes are top notch. I can’t decide which form to display this guy in because they are both so cool!
I have transformed countless robots in my lifetime but I have to say this is one the best quality Transformers I’ve seen. Nightwatch Optimus Prime is a great toy and one of the few 40 dollar figures you will find that is actually worth the cash.

The Leader Class Nightwatch Optimus Prime is recolored in varying toothpaste-hued shades of blue. Primeâs truck mode, outfitted with six rubber wheels, features a blue & black chassis with a silver chased flames. Primeâs robot mode features a number of ratcheted joints and a wide range of articulation. Nightwatch Optimus Prime features electronic lights and sounds and a projectile-firing Ion Blaster. Originally, Optimus Prime ruled Cybertron alongside Megatron, although after Megatron revealed his maniacal scheme to yoke the power of the Allspark for himself, Optimus rallied a group of Cybertronian noncombatants into an Autobot militia. A subsequent attempt to recover the Allspark led both the Autobots and Decepticons to Earth.

1st things 1st, this is WHEELJACK Hasbro. First seen by me in Energon episode “Crash Course”. I only like this guy because he looks like the most beloved G1 Autobot next to Prime. Just as a warning he is called Downshift in the show (even though I like Ironhide more).

The world of Transformers is no longer limited to machines that turn into vehicles. With characters like Reptilion here, the animal kingdom is now part of the long fought battle between the benevolent Autobots and the evil Decepticons. But unlike most Transformers, Reptilion never really has a completely robotic form. Instead, he stands upright as a sort of creepy crocodile man whom, despite the assurances on the packaging that he was fighting for the good guys, does not look like the sort of fellow we would hope to see in a dark alley (or a dark swamp, for that matter). Things get considerably more exciting after the inevitable transformation occurs. He becomes a creepy brown and yellow (yet still seemingly android) iguana with a spring-loaded missile that fires out of his mouth. The transformation was not intuitive but we had a relatively easy time of it. –Charlie Williams

Watch out for Reptilion with his firing tongue missile! Reptilion’s tongue becomes a firing missile, and the missile becomes an attack sword.
